– LiMa Stories – So everyone immortalized themselves here with a small piece

There were 10 or more children working daily on the project. They like the technic to use a hammer for to build the right size of the pieces. Children learn from each other. I even worked with children with 4 years old in Italy and without language skills. The mosaic-technic is easy: You put the pieces side up like a puzzle. For instants you have 5 colours of blue like in a paintbox. You can work with a hammer to form pieces. Akelei Hertzberger

A selfbuilder tells us: “We made the mosaics on the sand box. Someone broke the stones and everyone made a small field. One started and then it was finished and then they said, you did that beautifully and then you wanted to do that too. So everyone immortalized themselves here with a small piece. That was a side job with clay and shards. That’s how it was with the monster.”
