LiMa- the german architect Hinrich Baller

On July 23, Berlin architect Hinrich Baller (1936 Stargard, West Pomerania – 2025 Berlin) passed away. Hinrich and Inken Baller were the contact architects for the LiMa residential courtyard in Berlin. The Ballers gave LiMa the color that became  the residential courtyard skin tone:

Where does LiMa’s green color actually come from?

“The green comes from us. We’ve always had this green. This color is reminiscent of the copper roofs of Hamburg. But this green also exists in Amsterdam, where the copper roofs oxidize differently due to the sea air.”
