“private claim to public space”
“The idea of the “in-between” removes the sharp distinction between areas with different territorial claims. The aim is therefore to create “in-between spaces” that are either private or public in administrative terms, but are equally accessible from both sides, i.e. both sides can reasonably be expected to allow the “others” to use them.”
